Ohio Valley Energy is a privately owned oil and natural gas company engaged in the acquisition, development, exploration and operation of oil and gas properties, with a primary focus in Northeast Ohio. We currently own and operate approximately 180 wells in Ohio and Pennsylvania and own working interests in an additional 350 wells.
We own our drilling rig, so drilling isn’t dependent on the schedule of an outside drilling company.
OVE acquires leases on properties located in proven producing areas that have not been developed because of urbanization. Drilling programs are underway in Cuyahoga, Summit, Geauga, Portage, Stark, Mahoning and Trumbull Counties, Ohio. We are also exploring drilling possibilities all over Ohio. We drill wells in rural, urban and developed residential areas.
Our management team has been instrumental in the development of over 1000 wells and has drilled wells on schools, churches, cemeteries, metropolitan parks, apartment complexes, universities, hospitals, nature preserves and federal lands. Ohio Valley Energy is well versed in working with township, municipal, state and federal agencies for the development of oil and natural gas.
